Eta Carina - First light with Mesu 200

This is my first image run done with the Mesu 200 mount. Tracking is excellent, so any star eccentricity I know is due to collimation being out of spec.

Here we have a 20 x 900secs stack processed in Startools, this is also my first image done with dithering and I can vouch that the noise reduction is significant compared to no dithering.

Cheers
Bill

Good on ya, Colin

Here is a crop of the centre, I love how the little blue stars look like marbles floating in space.

Thanks guys, yep the mount is a sure keeper, some people call them ugly, but I love it.

Looks like we are going to have some clear nights this new moon, about time to.

Cheers

You got yourself an excellent mount Colin. That's right up there in the technological forefront.

And don't forget the price tag to go with it haha
Difference is that you could comfortably dual mount 16" RCs and I probably wouldn't go much of a 12"
