Blood moon plus big rock

Here is one of the lunar eclipse just gone by. I was fortunate enough to be in a great spot!. Had set up a time lapse- didn't work. Canon EOS - battery gave up the ghost. Finally relied on my faithful Olympus Micro 4/3 and panny 20mm lens which held up nicely . Only a newbie so learning the hard way about the preparation :-)
I know Sydney turned out to be a dud unfortunately.

Nice shot. Whereabouts did you find yourself for the eclipse?

Thanks MortonH. I see you are standing in front of the real deal in your profile pic. Funnily enough this place where the boulder was is called…drum roll.." Stonehenge". If you get a minute check out the size of it. I posted a pic in the terrestrial image section …

Very nice and I have been to Stonehenge QLD and we loved the little town and wrote our names with the rocks. Great photo.

Great shot Owl

I had one lined up with the moon rising over the ridge on our property.

Alas the clouds did not want to play ball.
