Free PDF to Word Doc convertor??

I haven't managed to find a freebie convertor - most seem to be "try before you buy" and only allow a limited sized sample to be converted free.
Anyone know of such a piece of software???

Ken,

I have used pdfonline on countless occasions. It is a little slow, and you have to watch to make sure you click on the right download button (it is an online convertor) but it works quite well.

I hope this helps.

Andrew.

Cool Pdf Editor

Pdf files are saved with no formatting of the doccument

Note:- "Microsoft Office 2013 does a reasonable job of both writing and reading PDF files. It is particularly good at opening Office files saved as PDFs and they can be edited and saved as Word files or PDFs again

for simple doccuments I use CutePDF Editor
or try:- Foxit PhantomPDF Standard

I just highlight the pages (CTRL left click and drag ) and then copy and paste into MS Word . I suppose this is OK for a small number of pages but would be a bit cumbersome if you have a 100 pages to copy.

Bill

EDIT: Looks like what I did above only copy's text and you have to do images separately. Actually Shift down arrow is better to get multiple pages quickly.

I don't know about this freebie but it does what it says.
Not sure if it's limited in any way though........It is!

It seems to be "upgradeable" if required but the price?

Thanks guys.
All of the recommendations (other than Word 2013 - I think my wife uses that version - must check!) only allow very limited conversions - a Mb or so....
I'm looking for something to handle >10Mb...
The best so far seems to be pdf2docx.com.

You can download and install OpenOffice, then download the Oracle PDF importer, which will load the PDF file. Then you can export the file into a Word format (.doc).

OpenOffice: http://www.openoffice.org/
Oracle PDF Import Extension: http://extensions.services.openoffic...-openoffice-3x
