Moon, Jupiter and more moons

With Jupe so close to the moon I just had to get a couple of happy snaps. To my surprise I got the Moon, Jupiter and Europa and Ganymede...perhaps even Callisto. The "corrected" image brings them out even better. Hmmmm, unfortunately, the compression I have had to do for this page makes them nigh impossible to discern.

The close-up shows you a bit better what the larger KB image conveys.

Camera is simple Panasonic Lumix DCM-LZ5, 6 megapixel with 6x optical zoom.

I'm happy with this!

Smile

Nice shots.....around about 8:30-9:00pm, if you looked closely at Jupiter's eastern (eyepiece view) rim, you could just see Io poke its head around the rim of Jupiter
