2 Prom. comparison.

27 Aug. 2014. A nice prominence group on the eastern limb of the Sun has been active over the last few days. The first pic. here was taken yesterday Aug 26th at 11.14 am. The second today Aug. 27th at the same time. I suspect the prom is moving with the Sun (to right) but also may be changing shape as well. Both pics are single exposure ones thru a SMII 60 mm scope (Ha) with a Canon 550d camera. Thanks for viewing. John W.

John - why not try the video mode of the camera to capture some avi's and then process those
