Hubble Mirrors

I'm looking to contact anybody who has a Hubble mirror. Am interested to buy one, Tong at Hubble suggested I try here for some of their Australian customers. Thanks in advance, Dave.

Don't they still their mirrors on Ebay and ship international? Strange that they suggest you buy used in Australian, and not new from them?

Hi catdog,

I have bought mirrors from HO. Over the years, 3 of their 14"ers, (through the ebay auction site). Paid from US$366 to US$590. Used two of them personally. One was so-so, and the other is very good (optics considerably better, than those of a Skywatcher 12" collapsible, I had at the same time). Also used/use their secondaries []2.76", 3.1",(with current 14" dob) and 4",(with my 25"er). With the HO, you do at least, get some numbers for each individual optic, not sure how accurate these might be. However HO does have good feedback on their Ebay site.

Best regards
Stephen

Thanks Stephen,
Ya its OK reading the web blurb but its a lot more comforting to hear from real people of their experience with styff. Am thinking of building a 22" f4.2 H.O. look pretty good on their site spec. pricing is competitive.
Cheers Dave.
