Jupiter - Double Shadow, Double Moon Transit tonight

Hi All,
Was just having a look at what Jupiter is doing this evening for an outreach event I'm doing in Perth.
Turns out that from about 0330hrs (Perth time) we'll have Io, Europa and their shadows AND the (formerly) Great Red Spot all transiting.
Good luck to those that wake up to watch it.
Cheers,
Dan

Hope you have a good night for it. A bit too late for us in the east unfortunately, would love to see another double transit / Red Spot. Maybe next year.

I'm an absolute monkey.
Only realised while looking at Jupiter last night during outreach that it would have been long set by the time of the double-double.

Oh well. The kids loved the outreach session. Had about three indigenous kids in wheelchairs that had never looked through a scope before. They had a blast
