This doesn't look natural to me, the hole is far too sperical, and the inside way too smooth. Something was here in the past, covered up perhaps for millennia and has just now reclaimed it's right to exist. This hole was a hole once before IMHO.

I find these very interesting, to think we could be sitting on top of a large hole in the ground, as it is slowly eroding away unknown to us. Very cool, feel sorry that someone had died though, but unfortunately we cannot tame nature.

A brand new house fell down into a mineshaft in North Ballarat about 12 years ago, and the Sebastopol (suburb of Ballarat, where Leon lives) swimming pool and half the street fell into another mineshaft about 10 years ago. Freaky stuff!

But that Guatamalan one is DEEEEP!!!!!

Very sad that lives were lost , we have sink holes here in Arnhemland that are 100's of feet wide & several hundred feet deep, filled with water & reportedly connect to the ocean 30 km away
