Another NGC 6357

I've been struggling with this one a while and am still not completely happy with it. I was going to add some RGB stars but the weather has turned cloudy so that will have to wait. I might have overdone the colour saturation as I often do with Hubble palette images.

Anyway here it is

Steve

I really quite like the colour palette Steve On close inspection, looks like you have over worked (and shrunk?) the stars, with some elongation present and perhaps overdone the decon just a little though..? ..still, overall, a cool looking image

Yeah - well spotted Mike. I appear to have a bit of a collimation problem which I really must do something about. Probably did over do the stars. I used a touch of star shrink which mostly I tend to avoid now.

Good idea on avoiding the star shrink, it's usually pretty obvious and unnatural looking IMO, like decon, if not used reeeeally carefully.
