Does anyone know of an adapter to take a Canon EOS AF and Nikon lenses to fit a screw mounted camera body? Its just that I have an SBIG 237A CCD camera that takes M42 threads. Would be nice to fit a new-beaut Canon lens to that camera.. sigh..
Peter Tan in Hong Kong used to stock some very cheap adapters; not sure if he still does.
The main thing is to make sure that you can get the correct ~ 44 mm (EOS) spacing between the lens and the CCD chip. First step would be to find out what the minimum back focus requirements of your 237A is.
Not sure if this guy can help but I purchased a M42 to C-mount adaptor to take an old Hanimex telephoto lens onto a cctv camera for video astronomy. Looks like they have quite a few options available: http://stores.ebay.com.au/raerphoto
