Commiserations about your wonderful weather, having visited the UK many years ago, including Wales, I can understand your frustration. The chart you posted reads more like our winter charts. Except for today where it was only 13*C and 80kmh wind gusts and snow showers on the mountains only a few hundred kms away.

I guarantee we get perhaps five weeks a year good weather for summer

I met some welsh surfers in Tenby who would be pleased to see some warm weather, rain or not.

Makes the flowers grow. And the flowers flow which we could do with some of.

Bushfire smoke , I guess , is not a problem unless it drifts up from Portugal.

If you did decide to move down here, Australian summer nights are pretty much as bad for cloud cover. The difference is the temperatures. Here, they are easily double to triple what you posted in your pic.
