Filter offsets in TheSkyX

hi,

I'm using a 7 position wheel, the Sharpsky Pro controller with a moonlite and the Skyx.

I've measured the focus positions for my 6 filters.
can someone please explain how the filter offsets are set in TSX especially if the higher position filters have a focal position lower than the first.

eg.
L - 24840
R - 24855
G - 24857
B - 24853
Ha - 24837
O3 - 24839
Blank

Thanks
Alistair

I imagine you focus for luminance and then add or subtract from the Luminance figure for the offset. If its less I assume you enter a - figure.

You do a one time run where you set the values by reaching optimal focus for each and recording the offset from lum

turns out the offset was from the lowest value which was red in my setup.
I entered offsets based on that and monitored the focuser position, it would accurately move to the position for that filter.

Cheers
