M42 Shorter exposures on a windy night

As my FOV is limited in Sydney only have reasonable views to the east and north ( 2 story neighbours houses, trees etc. you name it) and most objects are below 30 degrees most of the night so I imaged M42 again with a large number of shorter exposures
70 x 30 sec subs
15 x darks
15 x flats
ISO 800
Canon 600D
6” f6 newt
PHD2 guiding
Stacked in DSS
Processed in Startools
Very windy night gusts of up to 25 km/hr but guiding was running good considering at 1.5 to 1.8 total arc sec error with RA Osc around 3.2

Cheers

Very nice shot considering the conditions. Wind can be a pain.

Martin you are doing some excellent work.
That is a very decent capture.
I bet there is more in there as well.

Good work Martin. Well done.

Wind is a pain to deal with and as you're surrounded by buildings, I bet it swirls too.

Good work in bad conditions

Thanks all,
Yeh I think good polar alignment is the key to good guiding in the wind
The old Canon 600D does its job as well for an old clunker( it was lying around for years before I got into astronomy, never used it at all )

Cheers
