Hi Paul,

Honestly i hope you're a salesman in Astronomical stuff, You surely know what you talking about and would like to thank you for your assistance and advice. In regards to the starparty i might go and visit the guys here in Brizzy with the BAA i think it's called, They have public viewings once a month.

On the last note i think that it's sad that when you go and buy a telescope and you mention that you eventually want to do a bit of photography that people don't advice that with certain scopes it wouldn't be possible, But hey that's customer service for ya................

Sorry not done yet, you said "A standard newt has the top end open" i hope you mean the side where the light enters ? Mine is open at the top end if i take the cover off. Or am i confused now ?
