in a worlld of hurt with gemini 2 controller

ok my fault as it has been stored for sometime but i setup the g11 and connected the gemini2 controller to it, powered it up and the switch turns on but nothing else happens. i suspect the battery is completely dead on the controller, but where can i get one CR2354 at short notice in Newcastle? i left my run too late as i wanted to use this on Wednesday night and test it before then

why the stuff they chose some obscure unheard of battery remains a mystery a 2032 would have been easy

Now, battery designations refer to their width and height, as all the button batteries are 3V (with a couple exception) A CR2354 is 23mm wide, and 5.4mm deep. If you can find at Bunnings for example a 23mm wide battery that is thinner, you CAN - in the short run - shim the battery with a conductor like copper sheet or even alfoil. You must make SURE the conductive shim is affixed PERMANENTLY to the centre of the battery NOT touching the outer rim or you will short circuit the battery - which is disastrous. I have done this previously. Available are 2320, 2325, 2330. You can even use a smaller diameter one too, but best to side shim that to stop movement.
