GIMP gets support for 32bit colour depths

New version of the image processing software GIMP (v2.10) has been released with LOTS of changes, see here.

Amongst other changes now it can process 32-bit colour depth images and also supports 64-bit fits images. This makes it a possible free alternative to Photoshop.

Just downloaded this and had a wee play. 32 bit goodness and some very useful tools to learn to use. The changes I see seem to make it line up more conventionally with Photoshop actions. Nice.
