Many thanks Peter, and Troy, I'm sure it will give me many hours of pleasure.

Troy, I saw the price of a professionally made Gimble, and thought, well maybe i could do that, we will see, it hasn't been used yet, and if it is not satisfactory, nothing is lost other than some time in the shed, and 27 dollars that it cost for the bearings.
