Classic Televue

So I will one day regret this, In its original case with all of the genuine Televue bits a Genesis F5 Fluorite petsval quadruplet. This is the telescope that started the high quality retractor game and was designed by Al Nagler himself. These are hand made and in 1988 Televue would follow up the original "Renaissance" telescope with the "Genesis" telescope. Appearing to be similar in the arrangement of the optics, the Genesis featured improved colour correction over its predecessor due in part to the incorporation of a calcium fluorite element in the field flattener positive lens components at the rear of the telescope tube assembly. This also permitted the telescope's effective focal length to reach about 500mm at f5, while retaining a flat field. the "Genesis" was offered in an aluminium tube painted in an ivory colour. The 2 inch diagonal body, focuser, front cell and thread on lens hood were painted in an almost flat black paint, and the focuser drawtube is chrome. This is an acro not an apo design however the colour is very well controlled, visually these are stunning with the widest, brightest field I have seen in a refractor. The attached shot of rho is a 2 panel panorama shot on this scope with a dslr. These have become collectors items, and in good order go for between 1.5K and 2k In Usa dollars
I am thinking $1500.00 Aud
This scope is in Excellent condition and does not look its 30 years
