Some years ago I had a wall calendar that came with a packet of peel off self adhesive clear stickers which had a red outer circle about 1mm wide and 15mm diameter.
The idea was to peel them of and place them on key dates on the calendar as a means of highlighting.....
It didn't take long for me to figure out I could use the same stickers on the vinyl covered Sky atlas 2000 to mark galaxies (I was doing NS searching at the time) Absolutely majic!!!
I've been looking in all the kids shops and craft shops for similar stickers - with no luck so far.
Has anyone come across a similar sticker??
You might be able to get them at a good stationery supplier or craft store such as Lincroft or Spotlight, or else try a Google search for "removable sticker"; e. g.
Try office works ken.
They come with wall calendars for offices. With a bit of luck, you can find old 2014 calendars in the bargain bins. There should a pack of stickers in them.

I had a saesco wall planner sometime ago which had red see through dots. I haven't had these for a while now, so cannot really tell you if they still have them. Do you have an office works nearby?
If not, I can pop down to my local one tomorrow and check them out for you.

what's wrong with using a whiteboard marker to draw circles etc?if it neatness you can buy a circle template from any craft/stationery store with circles of various sizes. even ring hole binder stick on hole protectors and colour them if you want for highlighting different galaxiy type or other deep space objects you want.
Sil,
Hmmmm - not the same.
The size and circle width are ideal....anyway they are/ were so easy to apply and use...
I've made enquiries with a few sticker suppliers - let's see what they come up with.
I may be able to supply them to the members!!
