2018 images - Saturn, Jupiter, Mars

I'm afraid to post old images. During holiday season, I had a bit of time to sort out few sets of old videos. Taken by Meade LX200R 10" in my backyard in Hornsby. ZWO ASI224MC with Celestron Ultima 2x Barlow. Hope we will have a good planet year again!

Nice collection of shots, Hisanori.

Thanks for your comment Glenn. Yes, I have videos taken GRS as well but not presentable. I will try harder this year!

Hi there,

Good to see some more decent sized discs on this site. Mars will obviously be a bit smaller this year, but if you can resist the lure of the dark side, your 10 inch Meade should take some nice images of Mercury,Venus, Neptune and Uranus, certainly much nicer than my little 4 inch Meade ETX! Jupiters belts look a bit darker this year and also there will soon be some interesting conjunctions with Jupiter and Saturn coming up,..... for those who rise earlier than I do.

Hi Ross, thanks your comment. Certainly I'm looking forward this season again. It looks like Jupiter and Saturn are still passing closer to the zenith. I saw your nice shot of Neptune and Uranus. Maybe bit too low for me possibly hiding behind my neighbour's roof(!) or thick atmosphere Will try!
