Issues with Narrowband registering and Stacking in PI

Hi everyone,

I have just updated to the latest version of PI and appear to be unable to register using the weighted pre-processing script my Ha Narrowband images.

Previously I don’t appear to have had any issues - wondering if something has changed with this script in terms of the registration process and the ability of the script to find stars? The main issue appears the inability of PI to find stars to register.

I spent several hours playing around with the registration settings but could never register more than 17 out of the 20 Ha images I had captured.

The stack that was created then had vertical lines running through it - again this did not happen with the previously installed version or when I’ve stacked images in PI before.

As a result, unbelievably I had to revert to Deep Sky Stacker to do my stack! Which had no problems!

Can someone please assist a PI hack such as myself on this?

Have switched off optimise darks and this did not appear to make a difference.

Appreciate it and stay safe.

Ok was having a read of this:

I switched off use master dark/flats/bias and seems to have worked.

Why is this the case?

Oh well - seems also that the script reverts to leaving these on when re-activeated?
