Sol 13/8/2020

Hi All

There seems to be increasing solar activity of late, some numbered active areas with associated spots, albeit small ones and several prominences. There were more proms but they haven't imaged well but were nice in the eyepiece.
Taken with the PST Stage 1 Conversion scope, operating at 85mm X f10.5, ZWO 290mc. Best 250 of 1000 in Registax and some mild processing.

Thanks Ken, I really liked the diametrically opposite active areas and nearby prominences on the limb, think they came out well.

Jeff,
Understood!!
I placed the grid on the solar image to see where the recent AR groups are sitting.
Definitely looks like Cycle 25 is kicking in.
