Baader Laser Collimation Mark III Issue?

I just bought a Baader Laser Collimation Mark III.

After a few minutes of use, the laser fades until no laser light is visible.
I then turn off the collimator off and leave it for a while.
Turning it back on, the laser starts working for a short before fading away again.

I have replaced the batteries, but it did not change the behaviour.

Any suggestion?

Thanks

Brendan

Undocumented product feature? Does their website indicate that the issue is a feature?

Faulty laser assembly. I have 2 identical cheap laser pointers from eBay, one does that.

You have two identical CHEAP lasers

That implies you have two Baader Laser Collimation Mark III that are cheap, which they are not.

I assume you mean you have two cheap lasers from ebay that do the same thing, and, no they should not, you are right.
