RC 10 collimation tools options

The tak scope is 270US $ and a precise parts adaptor for fitting is 271US$ both plus post. Astro optical have the Hotech laser collimator screen for SCTs etc which works on RC's.
Question is, is it any good?
Would be a tad cheaper seeing as I have sold my Tak scope with my RC 8 (LOL!!)

Hi Graham,

PM me your email address and I'll send you a PDF about collimating RC scopes using defocused stars with your CCD. It's written for my specific brand of scope, but will hopefully be applicable to any RC.

Tak scope is the best and most accurate. I have a Howie glatter last collimator and it sort of works but is not accurate for primary placement. The tak scope is used for the primary collimation. It gets the secondary close and you refine that by using a star test for that.
