Mars last night from Mt Waverley

It is not much...

I didn't wait long enough for my C11 to cool down propely, so there were some tube currents visible.. apart from slow swimming.
But still, it is my first Mars, so...
Taken with 60D in crop mode, ISO100 and 10% neutral filter.

Yes it was great to FINALLY get a clear Sky in Melbourne!!! I'm still processing my Mars shots. Seeing wasn't that great, but we should get another chance tonight too

And from tonight....

C11, 2x tele-extender (MC-TKA-2), Canon 60D, crop mode.
I don't like that bright edge on Mars - I still have to learn how to correctly apply wavelets to avoid this effect.

Gonna be clear tonight but gonna be zero with a frost in Glen Iris, and working tomorrow so the one clear night this week and too much stuffing around.......
