Last night tried out my TS Optics Newtonian Off axis guider for canon cameras. Oh what pleasure to get round guide stars now as the pick off prism sees light through the Baader Multi Purpose coma corrector (old Mk 1 model). Night was cold, clear but windy, guide star bounced around every now and then but this is where human guiding came in handy Id try and respond by quickly speeding up or slowing down to get the star back to the virtual crosshairs centre.
