Reprocess from deep in the vault--Leo triplet

This image goes waaay back to 2009, but my processing skills have improved since then (at least I hope they have) so I decided to repro a few images during the current lockdown.

Camera: QSI 540wsg
Mount: Losmandy G8
Telescope: William Optics 110 Zenithstar
Exposure: 1 hour lum, 20 min each of R, G and B (binned)

Processing: pixInsight


Things have changed. I would now do much longer exposures, I don't bin colour and I would probably do the same number of frames for each of L, R, G and B.

For a limited 2 hours exposure it’s come up really well and it a fairly smooth image
