The Moon January 21

The Moon tonight January 21. About 1100 frames at the full resolution of the ASI 183mm Pro, Skywatcher 12" Newtonian at F5, IR 720nm filter. A pity the top was chopped off. It moved out of ROI when the wind blew.

You MUST view the Astrobin link. It's in full resolution. Have a look around.

I did look at the full res and was blown away.
1100 frames, were these selected from a pool of many more? I'd love to learn how to do this!

Yes, a fabulous image. I spent quite a while exploring the high res version.

Thanks JP. Total number was about 1400. I used most of them, just took a few out that were wind blown.

Kev,
This is the best image I've seen taken of the rock. Detail is pin point sharp - a really stunning view.
