First Light TSA 120
Howdy!
Been a while since I posted due to weather and the arrival of my new scope.
A big thank you to Hagar for this wonderful scope and for delivering it personally. A good deal indeed, especially with the wonderful extras it came with!
With the moonlight, I didn't have much choice on a target so I tried Eta C with 6 x 10 mins in Ha. Some levels and curves with a minor contrast fiddle.

Very happy with the results, can't wait to collect some serious data.
Feedback and tips welcome.
Gray.

Very nice Gray, You have be be happy with that image. A little bit of selective sharpening to crunch up the highlights but its just whatever floats your boat.
Great to meet you and your wife and of course daddy's little girl. (Benson I think) We actually ran into another girl over here at Elliston with a huge male Lab. Bella was a bit scared at first but they soon became friends.
Cheers Mate. Glad you like the scope. Tak certainly make some very nice glass.

Cheers, Marc! It was a very easy image to do, and not bad for a test image.

Hi Doug! Yes, loving the scope! Didn't do too much to it as was only a test image, however, it is good enought to maybe go on with. Mmm...yes, daddy's little girl alright! It was nice to meet you guys too, and we can't forget Bella!!

Thanks Mike.
I had a look at the back to front thingy by using your image as an example. I think I see what you mean, however, I just presented it as it came out. Do you think this is worth paying attention to in the future with other images?

Not at all, as far as I am concerned it is totally up to the imager, as they say, there's no up or down in space

Now I am confused! What is back to front on the original image?

Great first image and congratulations on the scope. Nice to see another TSA-120 in Adelaide. Are you fitted out with a flattener and reducer?

Hi Rigel,
Thanks for that!
I have the flattener that came with the scope, however, I am yet to purchase a reducer. I am just experimenting with image size and objects at the moment. I do have a WO 0.8 flattener/reducer which I doubt will work, but I'll give it a shot for the hell of it!
Cheers,
Gray.
PS: Are you in ASSA?
