Vela SNR

Taken with my QHY600M and CFW3 due the fact using a SBIG CFW with AstroDons did not allow for a camera tilt adjuster in my back focus calculation

Had some annoying tech problems, but was amazed at what this new kit could deliver with less than 1 hour of total exposure time....from the 'burb's to boot.

The link is here

Very cool Peter. You've picked up a lot of Oiii fine details in a very short time. Impressive setup.

Ta, but the OIII channel has a few warts due a guidescope glitch.

Weather permitting I'll re-shoot that channel tonight...RGB stars would finish it off nicely

Nice! That's 1/30 of the pixels of the original...how does it look at 61MP?

Superb and engrossing detail there Peter.

I spent a very happy 10 minutes trying to orient your image against a shot of The Whole Thing. Succeeded eventually.

Lovely work.
Mike
