Behold, another eclipse...

My mediocre effort at the lunar eclipse. Taken with a Fuji XE1 body and kit lens at 55mm f4 1/2 second exposures. Then manually stitched together (I tried multiple exposures but it was fiddly to set up). In the numbing cold (taken in Canberra when I was visiting a friend), I left the camera setting in jpg! So this is the best I can do.

Bo! I love it!! Absolutely stunning!

I totally underestimated the amateur astrophotography community leading into this eclipse. The work on display on this forum is just mindbogglingly good.

Congratulations, my friend!.

Thanks Rowland and Steve,
Glad you both liked it. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the Fuji "kit" lens and my ability to manually focus in the cold!
