LUNT LS230THa solar scope on brand new Celestron CGX-L Mount. The only ONE in Aussie

Lunt Solar Scope LS230THa is the ONLY ONE of this caliber in Australia.

Only 8 of these telescopes had been manufactured by the unique producer in the world - Lunt Solar Systems USA.

It's arrived in Australia in January 2018 and has been rarely used due to my injury after the accident and now I am completely unable to operate this fantastic machine.

That is why the Scope is looking for the happy new owner and I could sell it along with the mount and accessories for the cost price including Shipment, Customs expenses and GST (about 34,000AUD), which is equal to the retail price of the scope tube only.

LUNT SOLAR SYSTEMS - LS230THa - SOLAR TELESCOPE, Pressure Tuned with B3400 Blocking Filter.
At 230mm F/7 the Lunt Solar LS230THa is by far the world’s largest production Solar telescope beating out the previous record holder and now slightly smaller brother (LS152)by 80mm. The LS230THa/PT (pressure tuned) is a complete and dedicated Hydrogen-alpha Solar Telescope. A precision aligned refractor with a fully un-obstructed 230mm aperture. The 100% unobstructed system will perform to the highest level at both low and high magnifications. Utilizing advanced hi-contrast coatings and the new Doppler True Pressure Tuning system the user will be able to experience an un-paralleled level of visual and imaging performance.
With an image size of almost 16mm at the eyepiece, the views through this instrument are truly breathtaking. Clear skies provide the feeling of seeing into every detail of our nearest Star. The LS230T is a limited production dedicated Hydrogen-alpha telescope with a bandpass of less than 0.65 Angstroms. Optical design by the well known Massimo Riccardi provides crisp, sharp features, while an unobstructed aperture allows for the highest level of contrast and resolution available in any Solar Telescope.
The LS230T is a dedicated Hydrogen-alpha Solar telescope. The optics were specifically designed to be optimized at the 656nm wavelength. This includes a highly specified IR reflective coating that is applied to the surface of the front objective element to remove most of the heat from the system.
