Limb Surge UT04:34-04:59

Caught this after lunch today. Trees and clouds caused uneven illumination throughout but you still see what happens.It is these brief events which make Solar viewing so dynamic.

derek that is mucking refarkable!
never seen pics of the sun like that................ just erupting from a "hole" in the surface!!

A remarkable series of images Derek, they really encapsulate the enormous power and size of what is going on “up there” with our Sun.
