First Gamma-Ray Binary (LMC P3)

NASA has reported on the Fermi Gamma Ray Telescope discovering the first Gamma-Ray Binary (LMC P3, DEM L241, in NGC 2029) in another galaxy. Located in the LMC obviously. Story here:

It is worth watching the Utube video (imbedded in the link above), which shows the location relative to the Tarantula and the binary orbital illustrations.

The image below is one I located that shows it,. Aka NGC 2029.
