Every time I do some trimming or digging in the yard there will always be some creature or other checking out my progress or at least looking for some fresh food.

Steve, we now have four kookaburras that come around to be fed. They appear to be a family - dad, mum, teenager and youngster. One will eat from your hand.
Today the rainbow lorikeet pair that come every day showed up with two flight capable youngsters. Talk about squawking children! One of the youngsters was happy to feed itself. The other demanded the parents feed it.
