I've become a father, again.

All,

My new baby.

For comparison purposes, that's my 10" eeePC netbook, and my Canon i9950 A3+ printer (19x13" prints).

24x36" prints, here I come!

Can you say, "happy"?

lol, thanks, Molly!

Cheers, Dave. Over $1,000 for a complete set of 8 new cartridges. I think they range from $150 to $200 a pop. The inks do last a while, though. The money made from prints will help to pay for the cartridges.

What a horrible hobby.

It was bad enough forking out over $400 for a set of 4 genuine carts for my Canon A4 laser. But it does nice proof photos.

Congratulations Humayan!

That's one big toy; I'm sure you will enjoy using it.

I like Shep's idea of the 'baby' (printer) shower.

I don't think there is anything "baby" about that printer. It looks all grown up and more like you will be having a 21st birthday party.

Looks fabulous.

Out of interest, and considering past discussions on colour space, what does it use?
