IceInSpace no longer accepting new articles?

Hi all, it would appear to a newcomer like myself that IceInSpace is no longer accepting new articles.

The last new article published on IceInSpace appears to be "Cooling Newtonian Optics" which was uploaded almost 5 years ago. Please correct me if I am wrong.

And, the required link to "Write for IceInSpace" publishing guidelines is broken.

If you are no longer accepting new articles then how about an IceInSpace announcement of some sort so I am not just left hanging.

regards.... Graham.P

Graham the owner of IIS doesn't update the website anymore. Even the photo on the homepage is years old and we're all heartily sick of it. The mods continue to run the forums.

A better site that you should consider for topics such as yours - that are not specific to Australia - is CloudyNights.com.

thanks Wavytone,

that explains it. While I understand that maintaining such a site requires considerable investment of time (and personal motivation) it's a shame to see it stagnate.

Maybe if the "owner(s)" stated their position there might be someone willing to pick up the ball.
