M16 first light

Taken last night with my new esprit 120 . Still waiting for delivery of pier extension for my mount , so I didn't get much time on it as camera was getting close to the mount legs. Also could only do 180 sec subs as I was only using a 120mm long guide scope ( still waiting for new guide scope on backorder as well .) Guiding was pretty average as well due to guide scope length .

20 x 180 sec lights
20 x 180 sec darks

Stacked in DSS
95 % processed with gimp
Final touch's with Lightroom

Optilong l enhance
Zwo 294 pro

Thanks . I am hoping to have it set up for narrowband imaging over the next few weeks . Then another steep learning curve

Really nice result Kuz.

The lobster is very good as well.

Keep up the good work!

Thanks LIS new camera and filters rolled up today and sure enough it came with the usual bonus free couple of cloudy days.

I am sure that telescope or any purchase to do with telescopes is somehow linked to heavy rainfall and overcast sky's
