Took advantage of some clear skies and what was supposed to be better than average seeing but as usual it deteriorated as the evening morphed into morning. Managed to get some almost respectable images from the videos, may try some more processing on them during the bad weather we're going to get soon.
Taken with 10" f6 newt , EQ6, ZWO290mc, 2.5X Powermate, PIPP, Autostakkert & Registax. The mount is struggling with the weight of the scope. 1000 of 6000 frames stacked.

Wednesday night was a cracker further south , I was busy capturing M17 all night. The seeing on Jupiter and Saturn was exceptional,wish I’d had a second scope set up

Good see has been in short supply and your images look good for the number of frames you have used.
There is a dust storm on Mars, so perhaps that is why the albedo markings were not as prominent as you were expecting.

Have spent some time re-processing the avis' and stacking a larger number of frames. I think I may have said this before that because the seeing is so mediocre around this neck of the woods, that to me looking at the video, half the frames, at least, are smeared and distorted and unusable.
Martin, yes it is a beast of a thing to mount on the EQ6 and getting balance is most important therefore.
Anyway, here are the re-processed images, with an annotated Mars to denote some of the albedo markings.
And a picky of the scope and mount, scope weighs about 15kg. so is theoretically within the limits of what the mount can handle.
Pity that it seems that the Jupiter opposition is going to be spoilt by storm and tempest next week.
Am looking forward to the Mars opposition in a few months time when it will be almost 100% larger than now in apparent size and hopefully the jetstream will be moving further south and no dust storms please.
Excellent work Jeff. The seeing has been poor for a while. There was one good morning on the 28th which was the one time I didn't capture data but I did have some great views of the GRS at high power.
