Live and learn...

Imaging with the full moon is dodgy.
And the small target a bit ambitious for an 80mm scope.

Even after 4 hours of integration time, the result was very poor :-(

No amount of processing can account for bad data!

There’s nothing wrong with imaging under a full moon, I do it all the time with humble Canon 600D and no filters. You just have select your targets according to conditions.
I image Globular clusters and bright Nebula during half to full moon. I don’t bother with galaxies as they’re dim objects which require dark skies and plenty of data depending on your scope
That’s still a very good result with a short focal length scope ( 600mm FL ?? )
One of my favourites NGC 253 ( I received Bintel image of the month last October for my NGC253 )
Good on you for going after these dim objects
Well done !!

I use my 8” f5 newt to hunt galaxies does a good job , although I’d like a 10” f5 ( focal length 1250mm ) but my EQ6-R Mount wouldn’t handle the payload
Maybe an upgrade in a year or two

Do you have a bigger aperture longer focal length scope ??

All the best
Martin

Peter that's still a great effort, especially with an 80mm scope. I have no doubt the next time you hit this up that the result will be better again.
