Webcam test under cloudy skies

Well, all set up to test out the new webcam setup and in rolled the clouds. Drift aligned and everything

Still, thought I would at least test the cables and capture software on something.

Here's a fewgrabs of the Melbourne skyline - I, in no way, endorse any of the advertisers!!! Just ran these all on auto setting and registax on auto too.

At least it works okay - now I just need a clear sky!

That'd be the "aGent" webcam Matt - $40 off ebay. I have one too - and it works for guiding very well indeed.

Already posted about this on another thread which seems to have gone dead.
I notice that your images are 640x480. Is that what you're getting out of the cam, or did you resize them to post here?
I, and a few others, have the aGent as well, but can only get 640x480, nowhere near the advertised 1280x1024. I contacted the seller (LiquidDigital) who said that as the camera comes it's only capable of 640x480, and an aftermarket product (3rd party payware) is required to get the full resolution.
I installed that software, but still only get 640x480. I told the seller about this three days ago, he said he was looking in to the problems, but I haven't heard back from him.
Are any of you actually getting 1280x1024 AVI's or stills out of the aGent without software interpolation?

Cheers,
Jason.
