When I was a boy, my next door neighbour had a HQ Monaro, Dark Green/Gold GTS stripes, & Statesman front grille... I used to sit & drool over that... my neighbour took me fishing one night down the Port River... in that HQ Monaro... the drive there & the drive back where the highlight of my young teenage years....

I ripped the semaphores off a 57 beetle years ago that was getting chopped for the beach , it actually broke down and went to sea on its first outing , the whole car cost $60 .


I dragged those things around for 30 years , sold em on the bay a couple of years back for $150 .
