WA Astrofest Astrophotography competition & exhibition

Hi all,

The WA Astrofest 2020 Astrophotography Competition is now open for submissions, entries close 15th November. This culminates in the Astrofest Astrophotography Exhibition to be held on February 29th 2020.

I am the curator this year and so will not be entering myself, instead I am doing my utmost to encouraging every other West-Australian, newbie or experienced astrophotographer, to enter here:

http://www.astronomywa.net.au/2020-a...xhibition.html

So get to it, and enter! Submissions are limited to WA residents. There are more prizes up for grabs than ever, and yet it free to enter.

Sponsors include: Curtin University, ICRAR, Scitech, AGWA (Astronomical Group of WA), CSIRO, Astro Photography Australia, Camera Electronic, Astrotourism WA, Pendoley Environmental, Batavia Coast Maritime Heritage Association, Leofoto Australia and Perth Observatory.

I would love to seen more entries from WA astrophotographers who share their images here on Ice In Space.

Regards,
Roger.
