Interesting. As for being one of a kind, it most likely isn't. Unlike what some of the commentators are suggestion in the post, this is not a PopIII star. Just the mere presence of some calcium in its spectrum precludes this. This star is one of the extreme PopII stars with barely any metals present in its spectrum. One of the first in the generation or two following the death of the PopIII stars (many of them, at least).
