Jupiter 19 Apr 2018

Played with my old DFK 21AU618 colour cam last week and was lucky to get good seeing conditions on Friday morning. Five three minute drizzle stacks derotated in WinJUPOS, around half an hour total elapsed time.

Despite larger pixel size and slow frame rate this camera really rocks and I've give it a go this Mars opposition. Plenty of detail on Jupiter disk, very vibrant colour reproduction also. Recorded with IC Capture at 30fps.

Thanks for looking,
Seb

Thanks Dennis, wish WJ had auto detection for other planets also, makes the whole derotation process so much faster.
