Photo help

Last night I had my second go at imaging Jupiter. Equipment used is a ED127, canon 350D and a 2X barlow (1.5").
I took about 500 photos all up until the mem card filled. All pix are in RAW format.
When I look at individual photos they show evidence of banding and to tell you the truth they are probably the best photos I have taken (if you see the photos you would wonder what my first one where like).
When I try to stack the photos in Registax5 the quality of the pix goes downhill very quickly. All pix are of the same ISO settings same exposure etc, I experimented with settings before I started shooting proper.
How do you use Registax is there a secret to it? I have followed the instructions to the letter on how to use Registax. I am trying to stack about 60 photos and the stack count goes to 53 rejecting 7.
I realise that its a little dificult to diagnose or give recommendations without seeing the pix so later I will try to post a before and after shot between Qld scoring tries tonight..

I'm only starting out with Registax myself. I have similar issues. You have obviously tinkered, with the brightness/contrast etc? Is it stacking correctly or blurring? I have found a secondary program such as Photoshop, or Gimp (Free download) can be helpful to finish an image.

Could you post what you have so far? I'm sure someone more knowledgable than myself, maybe able to fix it / tell you how to.

There are registax tutorials you can download from the net. Might pay to check them out.
