Hello I shot this last night . I tried some before but shot in JPG .Last Night I shot in Raw mode I had the Camera noise reduction on .Canon 350D with Badder Coma Corrector.EQ6 mount .Andrews Gs Modd. 800X200 Reflector,ISO- 800. Two shots taken One shot was 522 secs the next 582.I processed them in Camera Raw in CS3. then opened them in CS3,I did some processing with Red and blue channel Curves adjustment etc. Then I stacked the 2 images.I have "A Guide to Astrophotography with Digital SLR Cameras" to learn off. The Video Tutorials are very Helpful in it. Reguard's Tony.PS The images were shot in my backyard in Town so There is Light pollution to deal with. The Canon Camera is Standard.
Nice shot Tony, this is actually a very difficult target to get right i think.
great composition, pin point round stars so great tracking.
just looks a hint too blue to my eye? but then again it could just be my monitor
nice work
well done
frank
another good one, very impressed with the amount of Ha the standard camera has captured, well done.
That bright star is a pain for anyone to handle so i wouldnt get too fussed about the spike, probably the only real way to deal with it is use a refractor.
Not bad Tony! That`s a very good result for a unmodded camera!
Well guided as well!
You will have to grab yourself a webcam to get your autoguiding up and running.
