Eta Carina

My first image produced with my permanent pier. Also added a field flattener which has dramatically improved my image quality. In PS all I have done is set the black point. 18 images of 3 minutes each. Canon 7D at ISO 800.

I'd say it's the ed80 from ES according to the equipment list.

Yes, and because I mentioned it’s mounted on a pier. I will be sure to list all details in future.

Very nice. A little wider than I can do with a fixed 800 lense or the C8 is better I think .

Similar colours too and I am interested in those dark reds . I get those mean smart stacking in photoshop but not really working in DSS. Do you stack in DSS?
