Orion&running man

Well this is the first shot i have ever put together,it was taken using my skywatcher100ed with a w/o focal reducer ,canon20d stacked in DSS and processed in photoshop.15 3min shots darks &flats.And i must admit iam enjoying it ,need more clear skies.

What a great first shot Alan. Now you're on the downward spiral that is astrophotography... it causes madness and you'll never look at an approaching jet with its navigation lights blinking without thinking... "go around...... go around damn you !!!!" LOL!

That is a great first shot Alan. Congratulations. An excellent subject with which to gain working experience in the hardware and software of astrophotographic techniques. WARNING - astrophotography is habit forming. Looking forward to seeing more of your work.
