Conditions for DSO imaging in Sydney over the past fortnight have been ordinary, starts out clear then high wispy cloud moves in after 10pm
So whilst Mars is still up and a waxing Moon around, decided to image them again a week later

Canon 600D
5 x Televue Powermate on Mars
ISO 1600 on Mars
ISO 800 on Moon
Captured with BYEOS Planetary mode
30.5 fps sampling
1500 Avi video on Mars
1000 Avi video on Moon
Stacked in Autostakkert 3
Sharpened in Registax 6
Thanks Peter and Anthony
I suppose I missed the boat with Mars , should have started imaging it a few months ago but I was busy imaging DSO’s with my new 2600MC both in Sydney and down the South Coast at my retirement getaway and didn’t even think about Mars
Still happy to snag a few with the ol’ DSLR
Thanks again
